Your job checks references, when you want to purchase a car your references are checked, hell if you go to rent a center they check references yet we won't do this in our personal lives. We tend to fall in love with the idea of what we want instead of what is real. By doing so we sometimes overlook red flags in relationships, friendships and even situationships due to the fact that we are rushing to accept something we won't give ourselves time to actually find.
