Tornado confirmed in northern Delaware as remnants of Debby continue to blow through

• A tornado touched down in New Castle County, Delaware Thursday night, officials confirmed, as the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby continue to move through the region.
• A woman was shot early this morning in Kensington. Police say they found a 43-year-old woman on the road bleeding heavily. Authorities say she was suffering from gunshot wounds to her arm and leg. The victim was transported to Temple University Hospital and is in stable condition.
• Children in Delaware County can get free medical care at a back-to-school drive and fair this weekend.
• The Phillies opened their series in Arizona with a 6-4 win. Meanwhile, the Eagles are set to play their preseason opener tonight in Baltimore.
