On the last day of the patty cake portion of training camp, it was a successful practice for the defensive line as they muddied the pocket for Jalen Hurts throughout the day. Part of the reason for that was the absence of Lane Johnson and Tyler Steen, with Mekhi Becton getting his shot with the starters at right guard. The free-agent addition who entered the league as the No. 11 overall pick now has a chance to win the job for good.
