This week we're talking about Phantasmagoria with our good friend Michael Cardinal. Phantasmagoria is a point-and-click adventure horror game designed by Roberta Williams for MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows and released by Sierra On-Line on August 24, 1995. It tells the story of a writer who moves into a remote mansion and finds herself terrorized by supernatural forces. It was made at the peak of popularity for interactive movie games and features live actors and footage, both during cinematic scenes and within the three-dimensionally rendered environments of the game itself.

Press Any Button hosts Nicky (a new gamer) and Eric (a lifetime gamer) are a married couple who both love video games. For every video game they will discuss its past (history of the game, developers story, and fun facts), present (game play, game review and strategy), and future (will there be a sequel?? A movie?) BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE… Every game also comes with a challenge presented by the host that chose the game. If the challenge is not completed then whoever failed has to do a video game rap! So if you want to learn more about video games, hear some nerdy video game raps, or just have a good time this is the podcast for you.
