In the light of the controversy over Telstra asking the NZ Warriors to drop Vodafone as their major sponsor (then backing away from the request), the team dig deep into the annals to find the weirdest sponsorships in sports. Discussed this week are an AFL Club that turned its back on tradition for a bag of lollies, a 90's alt rock group who invested in kids sports, an Italian football club sponsored by an oddly named jeans company, an English Premier League team sponsored by a business in their arch rival’s town, an Olympic Team sponsored by a comedian, a very adult stadium sponsor in the NBA and for some reason Nick does a story about something completely different.
