Otto Warmbier was a bright college student with an even brighter future. He was eager to learn about the world beyond the United States and about the people of the world. He booked a trip with a group that advertised tours to "destinations your mother would rather you stayed away from". His trip to the isolated country of North Korea was fun, at first. He wanted to take home a souvenir - little did he know that taking that souvenir would have irreversible repercussions.
