Much is made about the creative decisions in ads for the Big Game, but how does all that money, those requisite celebrity cameos, and everything else that goes into these multi-million dollar investments translate into Return on investment? Today we’re going to talk about what the numbers tell us from all those high-profile ads and who the winners and losers of the Advertising Bowl are in 2025. To help me discuss this topic, I’d like to welcome Nataly Kelly, CMO at Zappi, who unveiled their annual Super Bowl Ad Success report on Monday. We’re here to talk about the approach, the results, and what those results mean for brands that invested a lot of money - and time - into their campaigns. NO, RAHUL GANDHI HAS NOT TAKEN A U-TURN ON LOAN WAIVER After the Congress’ recent win in elections in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, a video is going viral on social media in which Congress President Rahul Gandhi can be heard saying that farm loan waiver is not a solution to end their woes. The video tends to contradict Gandhi’s earlier statement he made while campaigning in the election-going states wherein he promised to waive farm loans within 10 days of forming a government. Amonte g various users are BJP Karnataka general secretary Shobha Karandlaje and West Delhi Lok Sabha MP Parvesh Sahib Singh who have put out the video on their Twitter accounts. THE TRUTH: The video has been mischievously clipped to show as if the Congress Chief is retracting from his earlier statement. The full statement is as follows: “Farm loan waiver is a supporting step. It is not a solution. The solution is more complex. The solution will support the farmers in terms of infrastructure and technology. Frankly, the solution is not easy. It’s challenging and we will do it.” And, at no point in the video did Gandhi say that he would not fulfil the promise he made of waiving farm loans. BJP supporters have this tendency to clip videos in a way which portrays the person in that video in a negative light. However, in this day and age of social media, we as users have to be very careful before making our judgement and should fact-check everything before giving a judgement or forming an opinion on it. Women hold up half of this nation, and have an equal claim to decision-making. Today, we have inspiring role models in every field – from ISRO scientists to athletes. But we need to do so much more to end the bias that sets in right at birth, and deprives women of their share in nutrition, healthcare, education, employment, resources and life-chances. The Congress party and I are determined to do everything we can to make this possible. Statistics about violence against women are often bandied about, but we need to work on the solutions, with urgency. We must care about women’s safety and security, and we must care about their freedom. They are citizens who must have an economic, political and social voice – as guaranteed by the Constitution of India. It was a Congress government that introduced gender budgeting, and our policies like MNREGA have kept women in mind at every step – be it equal wages, involvement in audits, and direct payment into bank accounts. Every action that helps women is our cause, like our recent successful campaign to end GST on sanitary pads. Indian women, whatever their other social identities, deserve equal rights in inheritance, marriage, separation, spousal support and so on. We are committed to this cause. Along with economic empowerment, it is pertinent that our country demands equal political representation of women. While panchayats in many states have 50 percent reservation for women, they are still shamefully under-represented in state assemblies and Parliament. Only 11 percent of seats are occupied by women currently, and this must change. The Congress championed the women’s reservation bill in Parliament, and passed it in the Rajya Sabha, but, unfortunately, it lapsed. We offer our wholehearted support to its passage. We need women to frame policy, to strengthen party organisations, and to lead us to a fairer future. Resource: https://www.rahulgandhi.in/en/political-vision/womens-empowerment.php…
Rahul Gandhi About this sound born 19 June 1970, He is an Indian politician. The son of Mr. Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia, He is the President of the Indian National Congress and serves such additional offices as the Chairperson of the Indian Youth Congress and the National Students Union of India. A member of the Indian Parliament, Gandhi represents the constituency of Amethi, Uttar Pradesh in the 16th Lok Sabha. Gandhi stayed away from public sphere for much of his childhood and early youth, he attained primary education in New Delhi and Dehra Doon but was later home schooled because of security concerns. He later attended Rollins College under a pseudonym, his identity being known only to a select few including university officials and security agencies. After obtaining degrees in International Relations and Development Studies at the universities of Rollins and Cambridge, Gandhi worked at the Monitor Group, a management consulting firm in London. He established the Mumbai-based technology outsourcing firm, Backops Services Private Ltd. Gandhi entered politics in 2004 and successfully contested the general elections held that year from Amethi, a seat that was earlier held by his father; he won again from the constituency in 2009 and 2014. Amidst calls from Congress party veterans for his greater involvement in party politics and national government, Gandhi was elected Congress Vice-President in 2013, having served as the General Secretary previously. Gandhi led Congress’ campaign in the 2014 Indian general elections; the party suffered its worst electoral result in its history, winning only 44 seats compared to 206 seats won previously in the 2009 general election.
