The Faith of David

As the writer of Hebrews has been working through the judges, we have seen how through their faith that they subdued kingdoms, but it was David who brought peace from the River Euphrates to the River of Egypt, all of the promised land of God. While in reading 1 and 2 Samuel we can see many failures of David, we also see many victories that he has as well. One of the first stories that we hear about David is when he fights the Philistine giant Goliath. The focus of that passage is not how David is a mighty warrior but how God determines who will be victorious. David's testimony starts with believing that the worlds are framed by the word of God.
