Today we're broadcasting live from the Blythefield Country Club in Plainfield Township as we get set for the 10th year of the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give. Throughout the show we were joined by some of the great folks connected to the Meijer LPGA to hear about what's new this year, what the meaning is behind the event, and more. We were also joined by some of our great guests to talk about the Tigers, PGA, LPGA, and more. We kicked off the show talking with Jeff Striegle from Berlin Raceway as the "Money in the Bank" gets started up tonight. Jeff told us about some of the Drivers you'll be able to see there, what other things they'll have to offer, and more. We were then joined by Matt Shepard from X's and Bro's to talk about the Meijer LPGA Classic and some Tigers Baseball. Huge and Shep talked about how great this year's event is, and then moved on to give their opinions on where the Tigers are currently at in the season. We wrapped up the hour talking with Christina Fecher from the Meijer team so she could fill us in on everything you'll be able to find at the tournament this year, talked about what the money raised goes towards, and much more. Throughout the second hour, Bill was joined by Grant Boone from the Golf Channel so he and Huge could break down this year's tournament. The guys talked about why they love this tournament so much, they went through the players who they're looking forward to watch most, gave their thoughts on how the week goes for these Golfers, they also talked about the US Open and talked about who they see winning, and so much more. We were joined by Cara Lutz from the Meijer team at the end of the hour. She told us about all of the hard work that goes into setting up one of these tournaments, told us about what's bigger and better this year, and more. We were joined by Anthony Broome from theWolverine.com in our final hour to talk about Michigan Athletics. Some pre-season rankings are starting to come out so they gave their thoughts on those, they talked about strengths and weaknesses of this Football team currently, and more. We were then joined by Andrew Tkach who is the GM at the Blythefield Country Club. He talked about all of the growth the tournament and the Country Club have had over the years, and more. We wrapped up the broadcast with Juli Inkster who is a Hall of Fame LPGA Golfer. She and Huge talked about this week's tournament and how it feels like a Major, they talked about some of the players in the field, talked about the advancements in Golf, and much more.
