Today we're broadcasting from Downtown Midland as we're set to kick off Dow Championship week! The 2-person team event comes back to Michigan, and we're talking about it all week long as we're being joined by some of the great folks from Dow, the LPGA, and more. Today Huge was joined by Ben Bosscher from our affiliate 100.9 The Mitt for the first two hours of the broadcast so they could get us up to date on what's happening in Sports. Huge and Ben kicked off the show talking about the change in landscape coming to College Football, they talked about pay for play and NIL, and so much more. We wrapped up the hour with Georgia Oboh who is an LPGA Golfer and is playing in the Dow Championship later this week. She told us about her path to get playing in this Tournament, talked about the struggles, the rewards, and much more. In the second hour Huge and Ben talked about our Detroit Tigers. They gave their opinions on why this team has hit a slump, talked about which players seem to be making an impact and which ones are not, gave their thoughts on Illitch's lack of spending, and so much more. We were then joined by Carlos Padilla who is the Director of Sports Marketing for Dow. He and Huge talked about what we have to look forward to at the Dow Tournament this year, filled us in on why they changed the name of the tournament this year, talked about the new trophy, and more. We kicked off the final hour talking about Michigan Football and Basketball as Chris Balas from theWolverine.com joined us. He updated us on what Sherrone Moore and the team have been up to, told us about some new players joining the team, talked about what Dusty May has been doing, and more. We then moved on to talk some Golf as PGA Rules Official Mark Wilson joined us. He and Huge talked about Scottie Scheffler winning the Travelers Championship yesterday, looked ahead to the Dow Championship this week, and more. We wrapped up the show with Rex Hoggard from The Golf Channel. He and Huge talked more about Scottie's win, gave their thoughts on the star power of the LIV Tour, and more.
