This New Narratives x Queer History Talks podcast, made in collaboration with curator and moderator Mini Maxwell (multidisciplinary artist and activist) focuses on Queer Migration. Subjects that are touched upon are the meaning of home, the body, strength and the need for healing. They discuss these topics in the context of the Amsterdam Museum’s current temporary exhibition Refresh Amsterdam – Sense of Place, with a focus on the work of Tyna Adebowale (artist) and Tamara Shogaolu (artist) and we have invited special guest Mala Badi (artist and activist).
Mirjam Sneeuwloper (educator at the Amsterdam Museum) and Vanessa Vroon-Najem (scientific staff at the Amsterdam Museum) introduce New Narratives and Queer History Talks.
