It can be traumatizing enough to have your first wife’s ears and nose cut off by your father but imagine becoming a hostage to the Roman imperial court as part of a pawn in your father’s war game.
After Huneric has an on again, off again relationship with the beautiful Roman Princess Eudocia. Gaiseric “rescues” her mother and sister and Eudocia is forced to marry Huneric. Their marriage starts off rocky because of a divide in beliefs over the holy trinity.
