Ed.: The Maccabean revolt started c. 167BC. Josephus mentions the Hasmoneans governed 126 years (from the treaty with Lysias in 162BC to Herod's siege in 36BC) [Ant. XIV xvi 4], though Wikipedia prefers to count the Hasmonean dynasty from when things settle down shortly after Simon Thassi becomes ethnarch c. 142 BC.
