Rewinding to the year 2012, McCready digs into his side projects, from his UFO tribute band Flight to Mars to The Rockfords to his pre-Pearl Jam band Shadow. Then comes the big news (at that time): the announcement that he would be celebrating Mad Season, his one-off band with Alice in Chains’ Layne Staley, with a deluxe edition reissue.
Going forward a year, the 2013 interview picks up where 2012's left off, with Mad Season. McCready tells the story on how they recorded three songs with Mark Lanegan and another pair with Killing Joke’s Jaz Coleman.
