The best of and lessons learned from 2023 for Garvey's Gardens!
-The shop - we opened! YAY! So many stories from our time in the shop and a great intro to our favorite floral software, EveryStem! If you sign up using us (sydney@garveysgardens.com) as your referral source you get an extra free month and so do we! YAY!
-The farm - oh, the farm! What a transition year. We planned the 2023 farm before the shop was in existence, so it didn't align as well as we had hoped but we got LOTS of flowers, did a big tulip growing method trial, had some failures due to a wet spring, and are trying to overwinter our dahlias this year. Whew. LOTS of gold nuggets in here for all of you flower farmers and gardeners listening!
-Weddings! We flowered 18 gorgeous full-service events this year and countless pickup (aka A La Carte) weddings! So many lessons learned here, but mostly around balancing time, labor, and materials. If you're interested in having us flower your wedding or event, contact us here.
