第五集：三藩市移民家長及學生在疫情期間面對的挑戰 Episode 5: Challenges from a Year of Distance Learning at SFUSD

踏入6月，代表學期的終結，學生們亦都開始放暑假。 6月份的節目，我們邀請了三藩市聯合校區兩位家長及聯合校區的代表，分享疫情一年多期間移民家長及學生的經歷及面對的困難，特別是英語能力有限移民家庭的需要。校區的代表--傳播總監馮弘美女士亦會講解校區在疫情期間怎樣去應變及回應學生及家長的需要，與及大家都非常關心秋季的復課安排。今集以廣東話錄製。 June marks the end of the 2020-2021 school year for the San Francisco Unified School District. In this episode, we reflect on the past year of distance learning at SFUSD. We first hear from two parents of SFUSD students who share about their experiences during the pandemic and how SFUSD can better support limited English proficient immigrant parents. We then speak with Hong Mei Pang, Communications Director at SFUSD, to learn about how SFUSD has shifted during the pandemic and provided resources for parents in terms of a safe return to in-person learning, family communication, and parent engagement.
