I have looked for love In the dusk of dimming twilight Amongst corned alleyways Where old couples walked hand in hand Hailing the future together I have looked for love amongst The powdery dried flowers Enclosed ever so carefully Within the confines of The verses of a poetry book! Forget romantic candlelight I have looked for love In dexterous hands chopping up vegetables To conjure a simple dinner. And tired of not finding these anywhere I at last turned to look for it Within these Melting amber eyes of yours Which hath with one look Unleashed the fire But alas..
