I asked my online community to share their favourite afrobeat tracks with me & I turned everyone's selection into a special mix to keep us company during this uncertain time for many. My title, "LOCdown" is stylised to play on a natural hair grooming process known as the L O C (liquid-oil-cream) method which is used to moisturise hair. This mix is my gift of nourishment to the African soul as it is made up of a community of selectors.
