It's Black History Month and this week, host Kiara is reviewing the classic 1985 historical drama, The Color Purple. This film is based on Alice Walker's 1982 novel, is directed by Steven Spielberg, and features performances from the amazing Whoopi Goldberg, Oprah Winfrey, & Danny Glover. It's a tale of women overcoming obstacles and supporting each other through trying times in the early 1900s.
