On September 19, 1961, the now famous UFO incident known as Betty and Barney's Excellent Adventure occurred, which sent shock-waves throughout the “scientific community”. As newly-married couple Betty and Barney Hill drove along a remote stretch of highway in New Hampshire, the serenity of the clear and starry night sky would be interrupted by a strange ball of light moving through the air that suddenly descended in their direction, culminating in America's first reported case of alien abduction. As shadowy memories were finally brought to light, the ensuing story was considered by some to be too fantastical to be true. But to others, the story represents the holy grail of Alien Contact.
