The two touch on how brands interact with the people making watch content today, and the role of content creators in enhancing a brand's universe and the need for consistency while finding one's unique contribution. The discussion slightly shifts to the process of writing novels, as Jason has authored two novels, and the importance of breaking down the work into manageable chunks. The idea of adding watches in novels as set dressing is discussed, as well as the missed opportunity in the watch industry to tell more stories. As the conversation starts to come to an end, Jason and Ariel discuss the reluctance of watch brands to share negative or failed aspects of their history, they offer advice on choosing the right watch, and the role of watch enthusiasts in helping others make informed decisions.
