The UK Space Agency (UKSA) and UK Space Command have announced a new project to detect and analyse lasers being used against UK satellites. Safran Federal Systems has been awarded a contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Cosmic Shielding Corporation (CSC) has been awarded a $4M Tactical Funding Increase (TACFI) contract from the US Department of War.
