Nargis की बेटी Namrata Dutt ने किया खुलासा- महीनों बाद खुद को शीशे में देख बुरी तरह टूट गई थीं मां

नम्रता दत्त ने उस समय को याद किया जब उनका परिवार कुछ समय के लिए ही नरगिस के इलाज के लिए US चला गया था। वह बताती हैं, 'सुबह से लेकर रात तक पापा हर दिन, हर वक्त मां के साथ ही रहते थे। वह उन्हें खिलाते थे। उनको साफ करते थे। हम बहने ने भी बारी-बारी से उनकी देखभाल किया करते थे। मुझे पक्का पता है कि पापा चुपके से रोते थे लेकिन कभी भी उन्होंने इस बात का एहसास हम लोगों को नहीं होने दिया कि उन पर क्या बीत रही थी।' आपको मालूम होगा कि नरगिस और सुनील दत्त की मुलाकात कल्ट फिल्म 'मदर इंडिया' के सेट पर हुई थी। जिसमें सुनील दत्त ने उनके बेटा का किरदार निभाया था। इस फिल्म में ही ऐक्टर ने नरगिस को आग से बचाया था और इसी घटना के बाद दोनों करीब आ गए थे। Namrata Dutt wrote an essay for Pinkvilla about her family's forced relocation to the United States during Nargis' treatment. "Dad was with her every day, from dawn to dusk. He'd look after her and keep her tidy. We would also alternate caring for her as a group. My father never revealed what was going on in his life, despite the fact that I'm sure he cried in private,” Namrata said. Nargis met Sunil Dutt on the set of Mother India, where he played Nargis' on-screen son.Their lives changed after Sunil heroically saved Nargis from a fire on the sets of the film. The incident brought them closer together.
