This week on The Whiskey Trip podcast, Big Chief takes listeners on a ride to Port Neches, Texas to chat with Tyler Blount, Owner of Neches Brewing Company.

Big Chief has collaborated with Neches Brewing Company and Treaty Oak Distilling on the Big Chief Series of Beers. The first of these is a German Dunkel aged in a Treaty Oak Bourbon for three months.

Tyler and the Big Man sit down and chat about the release of this magical beer on April 26th and the other planed beers in the Big Chief Series. Tyler tells listeners how he got into beer and try’s to get Big Chief to pronounce Neches the right way without success.

On the first half, they start the show with Treaty Oak Ghost Hill Texas Bourbon. They also sip on some of the Bourbon Barrel Aged Dunkel.

On the second half the guys sip on the Treaty Oak, Whiskey Myers Red Handed, a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that is 95 proof and has a rye mash bill.
