Manage episode 323077872 series 3303469
Welcome to Episode #9! Meet a youth in Ireland that has been actively spearheading the community in her area in climate justice and equality.
In light of women's month, it is hard to ignore the amazing work and efforts done by the youth across the planet. Saoirse Exton does not allow her age of sixteen years to get in the way of voice being unheard and her ability to participate -- from in policy making within her educational system or COP26 in the latter part of 2021.
In this episode, we reflect the nuances and multilayered aspects of our activism and demands for change, such as representation and news consumption. Saoirse shares her frustration about not being able to appropriately and rightfully utilise our privilege, where we can be expanding our knowledge and awareness, for the betterment of the planet and people.
Hop on this conversation about how the grey lines and difficult reflection questions we need to navigate through when trying to advocate and lead.
Thank you, Saoirse, for sitting down for this open up and reflect on record. I know you will take great strides one day with your thoughtful heart. All the best! Xx
