Church of England dropping “church” to be more relevant

The Church of England is dropping the word church in a quest for relevance. According to a new study, “modern-sounding” words such as community are now in favor. This is just one example of a culture that conflates opinion with reality. Yesterday, we looked at ways our secularized culture commodifies people. Today, we consider ways it commodifies truth and the eternal consequences of this deception.
