Our guest is no stranger to tragedy. Today Kate speaks with Barb Allen, a woman whose husband was killed in Iraq in 2005 by one of his own fellow soldiers. She also witnessed her husband's killer be acquitted in Kuwait and her life was never the same. However, she found the strength to overcome her pain and began "American Snippets", which is dedicated to spreading Patriotism all over the country. We discuss Barb's husband, how she dealt with her loss, the starting of American Snippets as well as the current debacle in Afghanistan, Barb's feelings on the Biden Administration, the political and social divide in America and how humor is the best way to cope with any problem!
