Gianmarco Raimondo on chasing his dream of becoming a Canadian Formula One driver. He moved to Italy at a young age to race F3 and GP2 (F2). He discusses the hurdles to moving up the single seater formula car ladder, from politics in motorsports to fitness required to drive at the highest leve. Gianmarco is a Canadian who grew up racing go karts, moving to shifter karts, then to the Formula BMW series, the F3 Italian and European championship, and a handful of races in GP2. We discuss finding sponsorship and the experience of driving in some of the most competitive formula car series in the world.
