Hannah Grace is a devoted mother of one, a somatic practitioner, somatic dance teacher, reparenting guide, and facilitator of shadow work and trauma integration. The intention of this conversation was to discuss the omnipresence of death in our lives & how that plays out in our culture. Together we share personal experiences of deaths in our lives and the culture that we live within. In this flowing dialogue we ponder questions like:

Where are we when we have lost wild, mammalian physiological birth & death? Can people hear us near the end of life? Where do we go when we die? Am I living my life to its fullest? How do we talk to children about death & dying? Hannah Grace shares, “People dying connects us to our life in new ways that we miss out on when we don't talk about it.” We share stories of the felt sense experiences & palpability of both birth and death, that first and final breath. We discuss how culture shapes our human experience, often drawing us into the mundane tasks and doing, away from our embodied experience of what truly matters most. Exploring grief & how it can be an invitation to reconnect to life itself. Together we talk about joy and how both joy and grief can exist together.
