The Humble Skeptic

On this episode, Shane walks through some of his research related to his investigation of The Identity of the Beloved Disciple. Though there will be a little overlap with things heard on the second half of the last episode with Richard Bauckham, this discussion of the authorship of John’s Gospel takes a significantly deeper dive. The result of this exploration, as you’ll see, has surprising implications for the authenticity and historical reliability of all four Gospels, and John in particular.
