So we have a new report coming from Sophos, which is actually a result of the survey they conducted with 5,000 IT managers across 26 countries, and according to the data, almost three-quarters of ransomware attacks result in the data being encrypted. And it was actually the case in some of the recent ransomware incidents that involved major IT companies like Cognizant, where attackers used Maze ransomware to infect and encrypt every computer in its path and exfiltrate victims data to their servers. Reliance Industries Limited and Jio has announced that Vista Equity Partners will invest Rs 11,367 crore into Jio Platforms. This investment values Jio Platforms at an equity value of Rs 4.91 lakh crore and an enterprise value of Rs 5.16 lakh crore.
