The Pirates begin a huge series tonight at PNC Park. Should Oneil Cruz be in the lineup? The agreement is yes. You can’t remove one of your best offensive players in this big of a 3-game set. The Pirates need to score runs and taking a player with Cruz’s offensive potential out of the lineup doesn’t make sense. Do the fans want to see Oneil Cruz in the lineup tonight? Blue Jays insider Mike Wilner from the Toronto Star joined the show. Mike gave us the rundown on one of the newest pirates, Isiah Kiner-Falefa. He thinks IFK will be very re-energized going somewhere that is in the midst of a playoff race. Mike said he’s been really hitting the ball well this season and got into what the transformation was like. He talked about IFK’s knee injury and where he fits best in the lineup. He thinks the best spot for him in the lineup is either the top 2 spots or somewhere between 6-8. Mike thinks IFK is at his best at third base.
