Scream 3 (2000), directed by Wes Craven, follows Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) as she is drawn out of hiding when a new killer begins targeting the cast of "Stab 3", a movie based on the previous Ghostface murders. The film also stars Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers, David Arquette as Dewey Riley, and Patrick Dempsey as Detective Kincaid, with the characters facing the deadly return of Ghostface in Hollywood.
