Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. Pat Green exploded on to the Texas Country Music scene in the late 1990s and quickly became one of its' most popular acts. Over a career spanning 25 years, he went from being a regional college bar favorite to opening shows and sharing stages with nationally known artists like Keith Urban, Dave Matthews and Kenny Chesney.
In this episode of The Troubadour, Pat takes us on his journey from his first paid gig in Lubbock with Cory Morrow all the way to what it's like to hang out and record with the legendary Willie Nelson.
Pat also talks about his Ft. Worth art studio and his work as a painter and a sculptor.
