We continue to look at the charge against the Northern Kingdom from God. God now homes in on the leadership. Leadership in the body of Christ is so critical. The leaders were not leading in a godly way. They refused to listen to God; thus, they were not leading according to God's word.
The had also removed the landmarks that were established by the word of God. They chose to live by human precepts rather than the word of God. This will lead to severe consequences.
Are we listening to God's word? Is our life built upon the spiritual landmarks established by God's word? Remember, those who hear the words of Jesus and live in obedience to them will have a life built on a strong foundation.
