S3 Ep 103: "Power to the People, Black People!" is an interview with Amina Matheny-Willard, who's running for Norfolk's Commonwealth Attorney. Amina has dedicated 20 years of her life representing and fighting for those who deserve lesser sentences, no jail time, and/or alternative solutions as a defense attorney.
During this candid interview, we learn who Amina is and the pivoting moment in her life where she felt "the system was broken," thus launching her candidacy to run for Norfolk's Commonwealth Attorney.
All Norfolk residents are encouraged to go out during early voting which has already began and last until to June 4, 2021, with the official election day on June 8, 2021.
Early voting can be done curbside at 810 Union Street Norfolk, Virginia between 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday.
