We also take a look at Rachel Reeves rewriting UK borrowing rules to take investment into account as something other than a cost (good), and how this is likely to be used to fund further private sector giveaways (bad). Also under discussion: Meta’s drive to put its glasses on everyone (bad if it works) and OpenAI’s gargantuan new funding round (funny).
