The hosts hit triple bars on this one! Yes, pun intended. Max and Brian dig in to the graphic novel Stumptown Vol. 1, written by Greg Rucka, with art by Matthew Southworth. It features Dex Parios, a down-on-her-luck private investigator who balances caring for her brother against the dangerous people who hire or hate her and her terrible gambling luck. Unlike a cold case, the hosts are red hot with their picks! Both hosts share their thoughts about inclusive casting, and may have very similar ideas about the cast of characters. They’re not out of leads, and they beat the house, and the case! Finally, as promised, Max reads our first 5 star review on-air!
