“God’s Sovereign Plan”
Today’s reading from Luke 1:26-29 invites us into Mary’s extraordinary encounter with the angel Gabriel. Chosen by God to bear the Messiah, Mary receives the message with a mix of awe and hesitation. This moment, perfectly orchestrated from the beginning of time, reveals the incredible sovereignty of God.
The Advent story reminds us that God’s timing, wisdom, and actions are perfect. He holds all things in His hands, carefully and lovingly carrying out His plan for humanity. Mary’s experience encourages us to trust in God’s sovereignty, even when His plans are beyond our understanding.

What is Advent? It is the season of remembering and rejoicing.
