Actor Robert Sheehan narrates Wilde Stories, a creative re-imagining of Oscar Wilde through the prism of his fairytales 'The Happy Prince and Other Stories'. This five part series brings together Irish artists and actors to celebrate and explore the work and life of Oscar Wilde and features interviews with Wilde's grandson Merlin Holland and his biographer Eleanor Fitzsimons. Episode 4 centres on 'The Nightingale and The Rose', a romantic tragedy read by Lauren Coe. The music relating to the story is called 'Press Closer' composed by Michael Gallen and performed by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and features vocal performances by soloists Rachel Croash and Evan Lawrence.
