So I went to see Straight outta Compton this weekend. Watching the film inspired me, tremendously, ... but then came the comments. Even though it was the number one movie of this past weekend, even though it was F. Gary Gray's career best film, there were still the haters. So in this show we will discuss the influence of music, Hip Hop, Film, Artists, Mysoginism, Police Brutality and the necessity for groups like NWA. We want you to rep your set and tell us what it was like for you growing up. We will also continue our tradition of open mic so if you have a piece you wish to share, we encourage you to bring it with and share with us, even if off topic because here at WKPJB Radio, we encourage you to venture into the uncomfortable.
