Happy Summer y'all! We are very excited to launch our first Summer Series which will highlight womxn of color experts and activists addressing critical health issues affecting underserved communities today. The topics we've chosen to highlight this summer are: Police Violence as a Public Health Issue, the Opioid Epidemic, Black Maternal Health Activism, and the Immigration/Border Crisis. In each episode, we hope to give listeners foundational knowledge as to why addressing these health issues is critical to the health, well-being, and healing of our communities. We also hope that these episodes are calls to action that emphasize why our visions for a more just world are not only urgent, but possible.
