In today’s episode we are having a conversation about grief. Joe Dupe recently lost his ex-girlfriend someone very close to him that he shared a lot of memories with from college until early adulthood. He talks about the shock and the wave of emotions that he has felt dealing with grief. We discuss the feelings of regret and guilt that come along with experiencing the death of a loved one. Mikell breaks down the 5 stages of grief and gives us an idea of what they look like. Sam discusses ego and how sometimes our ego can limit the way we experience life and sometimes can cause us to not love in the manner that we could or maybe should love while our loved ones are here with us.
