Perhaps you know KUN from the reality show Idol Producer and the band Nine Percent. Maybe you’re an OG fan from back in his SWIN days thanks to the Chinese reality show Super Producer. Or maybe you’re a latter day convert from his work on season 2 of Youth with You alongside Lisa of Blackpink, Ella Chen, and Jony J. Any which way you slice it — whether on reality shows or part of a group or as a solo star in his own right — the Wenzhou-born artist has packed a lot into his 27 years. A big deal, a fashion fiend, the guy has his own Madame Tussaud’s waxwork.

On the couch KUN opens up about his path to now — from his tough times as a teen in the idol system, the two years of rigorous training, far from home, not knowing the language, not to mention everything he learned — to how he feels about his past releases, and the old man inside him.
