Dr Joseph Patrick Nkolola- Senior Staff Scientist

Dr Joseph Patrick Nkolola holds the position of Senior Staff Scientist in the Center for Virology and Vaccine Research at the Havard Medical School affiliate Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). His most prominent research includes work in vaccine development against HIV and Zika virus. More recently, he is currently on the frontlines of cutting-edge vaccine development against COVID-19. The laboratory he works in has partnered with pharmaceutical giant Johnson and Johnson and after early promising results in animal studies, international trials to test their lead vaccine in humans recently commenced.
