Welcome to this episode hosted by me, Tor Obermaier, a mindset coach, nia dance teacher, and massage therapist with a passion for aromatherapy oils. Grounding is all about reconnecting with the present moment, finding a deep sense of peace and calm. I discuss the significance of grounding in dance, particularly in my nia classes, where connecting with the earth through barefoot movements enhances the feeling of stability and rootedness.

Through personal anecdotes and advice, I empha

size the importance of having strong foundations, just like skyscrapers need deep foundations to rise high! Whether you aspire to be an influential leader, a nurturing parent, or simply your best self, grounding is key to achieving your goals.

I also share three of my favourite grounding exercises: dancing to rhythmic beats, deep breathing techniques, and visualization practices. These exercises are designed to help you feel more centered and present in your life.

Additionally (of course!) I highlight the use of essential oils like sandalwood, cedarwood, and patchouli, which can further enhance your grounding experience. Learn how to integrate these oils into your routine to feel more rooted and connected.
