In 2022, a study found there are almost 10 milling people in the US who follow a vegetarian diet, with about 10% of the being vegan. A life sans meat can sound daunting to many. But how many have ever truly given it thought?
Just like with any nutritional diet, there are pros and cons. Besides missing the taste of a juicy hot burger fresh off the Weber grill or having to find an alternative for the Thanksgiving Day bird, it may not be as bad as some meat eater would assume. Considering the conditions of meat manufacturers shown in the Netflix documentary ‘Poisoned’, one may want to give a second thought to possibly swapping in some chickpeas for those chicken wings.
Speaking of birds, football season is back and in addition to the NFL, some extra light is being shone upon former Dallas Cowboy and Baltimore Raven turned Head Coach, PrimeTime. Or Deion Sanders per his government name. Some may not agree with his demeanor while others are cheering him on. At the end of the day, isn’t the only thing that matters is winning?
There were plenty winner during this years VMA award ceremony. Some showed up for the fashion while others showed up for the performances. One performance that stood out from the Icon Award winner was that of none other than Sean Puff Daddy Puffy P. Diddy Love Combs. As the penultimate performer he is, what a special moment to be shared with his twin daughters, Jessie and D’Lila. Kudos to all the winners, performers and those recognized for their artistry.
