She is the great Mother Goddess of Irish Myth, Tuatha de' Danann which means the children of Danu. They are the Sidhe, also known as Faery's, the Fey, Cousins or Fairies. You try to spell after that!

She is the charmed magic of the underworld people of Ireland. Much of the earthworks are related to her as are the Standing Stones. Its likely she crossed into much of Europe as the Danube River is her namesake.
