In today’s episode we have the pleasure to interview Jothy Rosenberg, author of “Tech Startup Toolkit: How to Launch Strong and Exit Big”
Jothy has been an entrepreneur since 1988 and has founded and run nine technology startups—two of which had exits of over $100 million. He has a PhD in computer science, and he has authored two technical books, a business book, a memoir, and a children's book. Jothy is the creator of the Who Says I Can’t series on YouTube, and he established and runs the Who Says I Can’t Foundation. He also host’s a podcast called Designing Successful Startups which you should check out.
Jothy is also an amputee and cancer survivor who never lets anyone tell him what he can’t do. From becoming a great skier to dancing at his daughter's wedding. His story of risk taking, adventure, and business ownership is truly an inspiring one!
In this episode, you’ll learn about why taking risks is necessary and why it takes courage to pursue entrepreneurship, why you need to tap into your inner strength to uncover your grit.
We also talk about the many different ways to start a business, such as joining an experienced team or spinning off from a larger organization, about why you're responsible for your employees and how to make tough decisions when necessary. And all about why failures are stepping stones for future success.
We hope you enjoy this incredible conversation with Jothy Rosenberg
