God’s Gift of Marriage — 1 Peter 3:1-7 A husband and wife are equal in the eyes of God as image bearers but necessarily have different roles and responsibilities in marriage. [1 Peter 3:1-7] A godly wife prioritizes her inner beauty above her outward appearance and willingly places herself in God’s hands under the authority of her husband. [1 Peter 3:1-6] A godly husband is the spiritual leader of the home who exercises strength under control and sacrificially serves his wife in humility. [1 Peter 3:1-7] As our marriages go, so goes our future!
